Trondheim International School (This) was founded in 2004 when a group of parents and an Australian pedagogist and inspirator, Ms Lyn Duffy, discovered that they shared a common interest in a progressive global education programme.
- This offers programmes for children from grade 1 to grade 10 (6 yrs – 16 yrs) .
- This also runs a pre-school for 3 - 6 year olds
- This is an authorized school for the prestigious International Baccalaureate (IB)programme administered by the IB organisation. Our school offers both the Primary Years Programme (PYP) and MYP (Middle Years Program).
- This believes that there should be a comprehensive IB education in Trondheim, including the Primary Years program, the Middle Years Program and the Diploma Program (offered at the Katedral School), open to all students.
- This believes in a strong focus on languages, particularly English, as a common platform for communication and learning
- This places in a great emphasis on home–school cooperation
- At This we love to learn, and we strive for excellence!
